Over the last six years, Samaritan has been through numerous expansion and renovation projects, all to serve you better and help our staff become more efficient.
Now, we see a vision for even more growth
on our main campus at Samaritan Hospital. In 2005, Samaritan
Hospital saw the most patients ever in its Emergency Department
(ED). This substantial growth is indicative of our need
for future structural changes and additions to our already
expanded ED. We are currently expanding and renovation our ED as we project our ED visits to grow from 27,000 to 30,000.
We
also have future expansion visions for our Birthing Unit and
our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). We hope to afford our
community more spacious birthing rooms for delivery, as well
as postpartum rooms for after-care and family bonding. We
also see a need for an expanded C-section surgical room. It’s
also important, as we address the needs of our aging population
and their families within our community, to add additional
patient rooms to our Critical Care Unit (or ICU).
We
hope that with these additions, we will be able to continue
to strive towards our mission of taking the lead in promoting
the health and wellness of people in the communities which
we serve.
